| Not a full scale butler service hotel, the La Corona provides comfort at a price that has not yet been beaten. I've stayed at true butler service hotels in Metro Manila as a treat, but have chosen La Corona for its price without compromise. Some have complained of its location, but if you are looking for a cosmopolitan atmosphere go to Makati City or Tokyo. The neighborhood is safe with few nuisances.

| Excellent staff - friendly, accomodating and helpful. However, we had to ask for extra pillows and extra towels. No Kleenex tissues available and housekeeping could not provide a hair dryer upon request. Area around hotel is not conducive to walking at night, although fast food places are closed by and Robinson Mall is walking distance. The US Embassy is also just around the corner. Free breakfast was very good.

| I was there in april 5 06 for 15 day n nite. I would stay there again because of the price n close to everything n us embassy n robinson mall is close by n a very nice mall. The staff was friendly n wanted to help out in anyway. The food was the the best n price was to high for the food u received, but there r a lot of places to eat by hotel.I order a meal with mash potatoe they was COLD. U have to watch out when u leave hotel day or nite. But overall I would stay there again because of price.

| The location is far from the airport. The hotel staff speaks english, but not well. I stayed here 2 times on the same trip. The first night my wife checked in before I arrived. She is Filipino, and the room they gave her was not very nice. The second time we stayed I checked us in and the room was nicer. The bed in both rooms was very hard. It is a foam mattress on a wood slab. Overall it was okay, but it is not somewhere I would stay again if I had a choice.

| Looks much better in website and pictures. Air conditioner was noisy and was in red light district. Okay for the Adult Vacation Traveler, which I was not.
