| The Embassy Suites was a great family place. We brought our son and his 2 friends who are all 13 and they had a blast. I would recomend buying boogie boards for the beach for the kids so they could ride the waves. Also buy chairs and a cheap umbrella for the beach if you will be there a while a little pricy to rent them on the beach. The whole property was kept beautiful and clean. The pools were great and so was Splash if you have younger kids. The free breakfast was great and had a good variety to choose from. The pool food was good too but way to expensive. I would suggest bringing snacks and drinks to keep in your frig in your room and ordering in pizza. The staff were very friendly, we got there 5 hours before check in time and had a room ready and let us check in eary which was great. The rooms were cleam and comfortable but our air condition wasnt all that cold but we were fine just the same. Go to Broadway on the Beach and eat in Senor Frogs, we had a blast. I have traveled and stayed in quite a lot of places and I would definatley go back to Embassy Suites. The 15th floor oceanview was wonderful. Can't wait to go back.

| Extremely pleased with our stay at ES. The hotel is very nice, sits right on the beach. Pool area: nice, no lifeguards, keep an eye on little ones. Two main pools, hot tubs, small wading pool, Splash water area (need your room card) Not many umbrellas or shaded areas and they go quick. Children's activities every day. Beach area is clean , Lifeguards on duty. Can rent 2 chairs/umbrella for $30/day, $60/3 days. Worth the money. Concession stand a bit pricey but good. Have small carts to buy food, hot dog cart and Auntie Anne's pretzels Breakfast buffet, good, b unlike other ES we have stayed at, no soft drink stations. There is a Starbucks. They had homefries, omelets, scrambled eggs, assorted fruits, bacon, sausage, usual pastries, breads, cereals,a make it yourself waffle station, get there early to avoid a long line. Manager's reception is nice, offered mixed drinks, wine, beer and Shirley Temples, assorted snacks.. chips/salsa, veggies/dip, chips/dip. If you want a table, go early it fills up fast. Several times we had to move dirty dishes and cups from tables to sit down. Snacks would run out and there would be a considerable time until they were refilled. Short drive to Broadway on the Beach, Ripleys Aquarium and the Alligator Adventure. Broadway on the Beach offers many dining opportunities. Concierge very helpful in getting tickets for many of the attractions (don't have to wait in line for them). Have great directions for getting anywhere.

| Great Family Vacation |

| I stayed with my wife and young son at the Embassy Suites hotel at Kingston Plantation during the last week in May. This is a fantastic place to take a family vacation, and a great value. As with all Embassy Suites hotels the breakfast is included. There is a nice poolside cafe that is convenient for lunch and has pretty good food - though it is not cheap. The Splash waterpark adjacent the hotel has to be among the finest waterparks at any hotel in Myrtle Beach. There are also two pools, two hot tubs and a lazy river adjacent the hotel. Also, as a guest at Kingston Plantation, you can use any pool on the 145-acre property. We had an Ocean View room on the north side of the building, on the east (ocean) end. This room had a great view - but if we had been on the west end of the building, we would have had more of a view of the adjacent conference building roof than of the ocean. The south side of the building overlooks the pools and waterpark. Our biggest problem was not getting the exact room type we had reserved. This was, by far, our biggest complaint about the hotel. There were also some minor maintenance-type issues with the room. Overall I highly recommend this hotel for families, as there are numerous activities for kids and adults. You could probably spend your whole vacation there and never leave the resort. But, it is a mile or two from Barefoot Landing, which is a nice place to go for dinner and to spend an evening.
