The Ritz-Carlton Seoul Amenities
Located in the Kangnam district south of the Han River, this 18-story high-rise hotel occupies a prominent spot among the city's office towers, shopping centers, and entertainment venues. Outside, it projects a modernistic presence with two wings separated by a high, glass-enclosed sky bridge. Inside, a six-story atrium with an illuminated waterfall sets the tone for elegant amenities and services delivered in signature Ritz-Carlton style. Guests in search of a soothing retreat will find it in the full-service spa, which shares the top two floors with the hotel’s fitness center. In addition to hot and cold plunge pools and steam and dry saunas, the facility features a Japanese soaking tub made of 500-year-old hinoki wood, believed to have curative powers. Wellness treatments include stress-reducing massages and relaxing body scrubs. The hotel also offers Ritz-Carlton's signature menu of in-room bath options. Menu choices provided by the Bath Butler, including lavender-scented bath salts, Ylang Ylang essential oils, and tea light candles, turn any guestroom into a personal, private spa. Business travelers frequently use the hotel’s 16,000 square feet of meeting space, which includes seven conference rooms, four theaters, and a ballroom. A 24-hour business center, high-speed Internet access, and simultaneous translation services provide state-of-the-art support. For guests with business outside the hotel, a complimentary shuttle provides once-a-day service throughout the Kangnam area.

| The Ritz Carlton was a nice hotel as hotels go in seoul. Usually hotels in Korea are some what small and cramped but still clean and nice. The RC was nice and clean and roomie but not really worth the price they charge for the room. The restuarants were very over priced and the wait staff in the lounge wasnt the best.My wife and I didnt even get napkins!! The taxis are convient out front but some what pricy. If you walk out to the street you can get just as good of a taxi for literally half the price. The RC staff i.e. maid service and front desk and guest services were very helpful and was always willing to help out with sight seeing advice and to even write notes to give to the taxi drivers to help void the communication gap.Overall besides the some what high prices and not the best experience at the hotel eateries i would reccomend the hotel!!
