This is an affordable place to stay if you are "not" looking for the lap of luxury. In other words, it is a good place to stow your belongings while having fun at the nearby Casinos. Also was very quite near the back of Motel.

The motel is pretty old and seems to be popular with young people who just want a place to crash when they aren't skiing or gambling. There were some strange stains on the furniture and carpeting and a small table was wobbly and supported by the arms of the two chairs. When I arrived, one of the slats to the blinds in my room was missing and anyone walking by could look in. However, I contacted the front desk and they took care of it right away. If you're looking for a cheap place to crash for a night, this is it. Otherwise, there are some very nice (and not too expensive) places nearby.

For the price and the location, I would stay here again, though there were a couple of problems with the room. The bathroom pocket door was almost impossible to shut and the shower door wouldn't stay on track so water went all over the floor. The hotel is a block from the casinos and from the gondola/shops, which was GREAT! The staff was friendly and allowed us to check-in early.

The best features of this hotel are the pools and location. It is right across the street from the Heavenly Gondola. The rooms are what you would expect for an older hotel. You get what you pay for. Hot tub, indoor and outdoor pool were in good condition. Enjoyed the free doughnuts and hot chocolate. Good for families since they also have a small playground. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

If you just want a place to bunk down for the night, it will do just fine. The location is good, but the place is older and could use some updating.

Although the Holiday Lodge is close to the casinos and shops, it did not have any "charm" and was just a place to crash. They did have an indoor pool and spa; however, we didn't use it or even go and check it out. We didn't pay for a "5" star place, and we weren't expecting to much more than we got.
