| The hotel staff was very rude, barely receptive to questions and the rooms and lobby were filthy. The drain in the bathroom was not functioning either, so the shower turned into a bath quite quickly. We subsequently left this hotel for another in the French Quarter that had the same rates and was gorgeous!

| The friendliness and helpfulness of the employees and owner would cause any minor flaws to be overlooked!! Enjoyed my stay. Great location! With a bad back, I was able to walk over to Canal St. Brochures were available in the lobby, and therefore made it easy for me to set up my desired tour. Certainly would recommend this hotel. Neda

| The hotel was pretty decent for the most part. There wasn't very much parking at check in and it is easier to pay the $3 extra to have the valet park your car. It isn't a fancy hotel, but it was clean, within walking distance of the Quarter, and housekeeping was thorough. The elevators creek and make you wonder, but they work. Unlike some hotels in the area, you also have hot water for showers! There is only one ice machine that we were able to find, but it wasn't really necessary for our trip since there was a small fridge in the room to keep our cooler items cold, and a microwave in the room if we needed it. The internet access in our room wasn't very good for the most part. There was a desk that always had a good wireless signal, but couldn't sit on the bed and be online without problems. The cell phone signal in our room was terrible though. Our reservations were for a smoking room, but they put us in a non smoking room when we checked in. They had no trouble moving us to a smoking room when I asked. I would suggest this hotel for people on a tight budget that still want a decent place to stay. The rooms are quaint, comfortable, and clean.

| I was satisfied with the immense ammenities that this hotel had. Although this hotel seems new enough the temperature in the hallways past the first floor are steamy. Some of the employees were not too friendly; I could overlook that because a few employees were wonderful. When I wasn't able to get a waffle on my second day there because they were out of batter mix, I thought that was due to some employees'poor planning. This is a great hotel for the main fact that they have nice rooms and nice updated services like internet access. I felt very safe in the hotel because there is a security guard on duty from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

| Location, location, location! Very convenient to the French Quarter and downtown. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only one of two elevators was in service most of the stay. The rooms are large, and fair housekeeping. The breakfast has improved with more fruit. Found a great breakfast place across the street. Self-parking is very inconvenient-two blocks away.

| Personel was courteous. Rooms were very clean. Spacious rooms. Hotel was withing walking distance of everything of interest. The continental breakfast was lacking. Every morning around 8:00 a.m. the choices were cereal and a bagel or a bagel and cereal. No fruit, no donuts, no toast.

| The hotel wasn't very clean, but it also wasn't that bad. It had a great location (about 4 blocks from the French Quarter and Bourbon Street). The hotel staff was not very friendly, but the location/price of the hotel offset that. All in all, not the best hotel, but a great location for a leisure trip to New Orleans and Bourbon Street.
