| The service at the hotel was excellent. The overall condition of the room was good. It was just a little less appealing to the eye than some of the other Doubletree locations I have visited in the pass. Besides that, it was a pleasurable stay, and I forgot to mention; The onsite resturant was excellent.

| Having stayed at several Doubletree hotels we found this one to be sub-standard for the chain. The room was in shoddy condition. The carpet worn, the appointments aged and of poor quality. The thermostat was inoperative and so the fan was all that was available to move some air. It was very chilly at night and my new bride and I had to cuddle close and use the blankets and comforter to stay warm. The fridge made unusual sounds during the night that proved to be very annoying and the only way to get a bucket of ice was to order it from room service (very Aggravating and time consuming). Well after midnight there was what had to be furniture moving going on above our room, it sounded like the whole room was being rearranged. We reserved the suite well in advance and requested a King size bed. Even though the Hotel knew this was a special occasion we were assigned two fulls. We did have one good meal in the evening, but even this was marred as my new wife's meal was way too spicey. And no where on the menu was it indicated that the dish would be so hot. The same for breakfast, the sausage we ordered was too hot to eat. There should be some indication if fiery food is being served. We also found the valet parking to be terribly slow and the expense of 20 dollars way too high for the service provided. We will not stay here again and would recommend folks think twice about booking here.
