Hilton North Redington Beach Resort Amenities
This six-story resort hotel sits on a white-sand beach in North Redington Beach, midway along the barrier islands that run from Clearwater to St. Pete Beach. Four restaurants and bars provide a range of dining and entertainment options, while four meeting rooms offer event space for groups of up to 160 people. There is an outdoor pool on-site, and Jet Skis, catamarans, and cabanas can all be rented right on the beach.

Recreation
Parasailing, snorkeling, Jet Skiing, and windsurfing equipment is available for rent at the resort or can be arranged at the recreation desk.

Guests can use the 34-mile long Pinellas Rail-to-Trail for jogging, biking, and walking. A free trip map shows the location of restrooms, restaurants, shops, and other points of interest along the way. The trail is located 5 miles from the resort, in Clearwater.

Dolphins can be seen in the Gulf of Mexico, or commercial dolphin-watching trips can be arranged through the front desk.

The recreational activities listed below are available either on-site or near the hotel; fees may apply.

Features
What to expect: Guests enter the resort through the covered parking lot, which has one wall devoted to a large underwater sea mural. The airy, sun-filled lobby on the second floor is filled with overstuffed sofas and chairs, and large potted plants. Families, vacationers, honeymooners, and businesspeople travel to this resort for its wealth of recreational activities, and meeting/function facilities.

Amenity highlights: Guests can use the outdoor swimming pool, rent equipment for numerous water sports, dine in four restaurants and lounges, and enjoy the white sands of North Redington Beach. Rooms have furnished balconies, Hilton Suite Dreams bedding, and terry cloth robes.

Insider tip: The Hilton has adopted a Great Egret (Connie) at the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary, about 2 blocks north of the hotel. The nonprofit avian-rehabilitation center and sanctuary has 600 birds on view to the public. Guests may visit the tree-lined, open-air sanctuary daily (no charge, donations accepted) from morning to sunset or take a public tour led by an avian docent on Wednesday and Sunday afternoons.

Mangos - The resort’s flagship restaurant is decorated in warm, woodsy tones and offers Caribbean cuisine in a surrounding of etched-glass artwork and gulf water views. Menu selections include Sweet Potato Chips, Voodoo Shrimp (made with Kalik beer batter and coconut), wraps, sandwiches, seafood and shellfish, chicken, beef, vegetarian selections, and daily sunset specials. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Verandah - An alfresco dining area overlooking the beach, serving from Mangos' menu. Offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and an elaborate Sunday morning brunch.

Tiki Bar - This beachside bar features tropical drinks, light fare, and live entertainment; open from mid-morning to midnight. Entertainment, weather permitting, is scheduled every Friday (island dancers on Fridays), Saturday evening, and Sunday afternoon.

Copper Cove - This lobby lounge features a wine cabinet with a variety of selections, and small, intimate seating arrangements. Gulf views and oak-and-copper furnishings and artwork provide a dramatic backdrop. Daily happy hour. Open from early evening until late evening.
