Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Pineapples on the Bay - Open from June to September, this terrace restaurant offers al fresco dining by the pool. Live entertainment and complimentary champagne draw a crowd Friday through Monday nights. Auld Mug Lounge - This rustic seafarer's saloon is noted for its extensive pub menu, complimentary hors d'oeuvres, and daily drink specials. Live cabaret entertainment is provided on Friday and Saturday nights.

| Outdated hotel with small rooms and terrible restaurant with slow unattentive service.They dont clean rooms daily unless requested?!

| If you can get past the price, which I'm guessing is strictly because of the location (ie Newport), the hotel is a very nice comfortable place to stay. My wife and I stayed there for our first anniversary and had absolutely no complaints. The staff was nice and helpful, and the breakfast was quite tasty. The hotel was nothing special or unique, but its a Hyatt so I'm not sure that should be expected.

| Very poor service from the start. The room was not ready at 4 PM and the room was very small for a "Waterview King". No refrigerator - no standard amenities. The front desk help were rude and unfriendly.

| The hotel was wonderful and the staff was great at the hotel. It was very conveniently located and they had a shuttle that ran every half hour in case you didn't want to walk to town (which was only a five minute walk). We did a day trip to Block Island which was wonderful as well. There is so much to see and do in Newport.

| On arrival(6pm), our room was not ready. It took a few complimentary drinks at the bar to allow the time for it to be made ready. The staff were friendly, polite and assured. A late check out was granted the following day. All very good....!
