| Dissatisfied from the bad smelling pool to the extremely hot rooms, even the lounge! Shame on travelodge for allowing this franchise to continue. Please clean and invest in some air conditioners, then I will come back!

| For once along my journey I did not feel like a stranger. You walk into this place like into a neighbourhood cafe, the locals are playing video machines, you can play a game of chess with the owner, they will tell you all the neat places in town and around the Black Hills. The Rooms are large, clean and the pool was refreshing.

| Arrived at 11:00 pm. Had to wake the clerk because office closed at 10. Booked a non-smoking room. Given a room with no ashtrays but heavy smoke smell. Didn't ask for another room because we just wanted to get to bed. Heater was off when we arrived. Went to bed with our coats on. Took them off at 3:30 am when it finally warmed up. Checked out at 6:00 am so we missed the free breakfast - a good thing, we figure.
