We paid a higher price than the normal room rate because of special events going on in town. There was mold on the walls of the shower and the carpet needed to be vacuumed around the beds. The receptionist tried to accommodate our request for a king bed, but none were availalbe and she almost gave us a room without air conditioning (in August). The room may have been fine at the advertised price, but was not worth the higher room rate.

The Ramada Limited in Murfreesboro is very much outdated. Safety concerns include the exterior entry doors propped open, the room lock system does not feel secure, the peep holes in the door are too high for women my height. The sheets and towels are threadbare. The staff is very nice.

It was okay for the price. You get pretty much what you pay for. The beds weren't bad. Toilets a little stubborn on the flush, but that's about all as far as the room. Only two real gripes : 1. I was never able to coax more than half a bucket of ice out of the ice machine. 2. I wish the housekeepers wouldn't turn off the air conditioning unit while I'm gone ! Yes, they ask in their room literature that you turn it off when leaving, but I think that's ridiculous. I want the place I'm calling home base to be comfortable when I return to it. I don't turn off the air in my own house when I leave just to save myself money; why should I do it for someone I'm paying to let me stay there just to save them money ? You can spend more and do better than this place. It all depends on what you want. I wanted economy on my trip up to visit family, and I got it. I'll probably stay there on my next trip to Murfreesboro.

that is about it. I would not have stayed here if I could have gotten my money back at the hotel. The breakfast was good but it wasn't worth staying for it.
