| The hotel is situated in Queens, which is not one of the more scenic boroughs of New York. The hotel was clean and the staff pleasant enough. The rooms were a nice size, the complimentary breakfast was great, and the shuttle service to La Guardia and the subway were awesome. The shuttle to the subway ran as often as you needed to go and dropped you off at the 40th St/Lowry station of the Number 7 train. It was a quick 15 minutes to Times Sqaure where you could connect with any train in NYC. I very much enjoyed my stay and compared to hotels in Manhattan you can't beat the price. This hotel is good for students, job seekers, or families that want to spend their money on shows and attractions rather than pricey hotels.

| Room was clean and comfortable. Slightly small, but perfect for a single traveler. Complimentary airport transportation to and from Lagardia at request instead of having to wait for a scheduled departure time was a plus.

| We stayed there for 5 days & thought it was definitely worth it. The free breakfast was a definite plus. We did encounter a problem with our room on our 2nd night, but as soon as we told the front desk it was remedied. The shuttle to the subway was a great convenience as it came promptly when called, & it ran 24hrs. The hotel does not have " period-style furnishings" - but does have reasonable furniture in the lobby & rooms. I did not walk around the hotel much- as I spent most of my time in Manhattan.

| We had a excellent trip and stay in New York. The Hotel was a Great Value and the staff was some of the Best. The Shuttle service and driver made our stay a lot easier. We would stay here again! The continental breakfast was nice. The room was comfortable and clean.

| I don't really spent too much time at hotel, while in NY you're supouse to be outside. Clean hotel, located in a nice area, they drive you to LaGuardia Airport or the nearest subway station when needed, you will really preciated that. They also have an acceptable breakfast

| The description of this hotel states "antique furnishings" which led me to believe it would be a cool, period-type hotel. It's not. It's a typical Best Western with 1980s-era basic bed, table/chairs, desk. Boring and ugly. The bathroom walls were stained. The baseboards were filthy. The desk clerk was not at all helpful, nor friendly. There is nowhere to eat nearby. The surrounding neighborhood is not good. I did not enjoy my stay there. And it was pricey considering it was, in my opinion, substandard.

| This is a great spot for couples and students who don't mind waiting for the compimentary shuttle service to take you to and from the subway. For families, I think it would be inconvenient to haul the kids around - best to find something in the city. We'll go back again, as we travel light and like an adventure. The room was HUGE compared to other NYC hotels, with a King sized bed, a pull out bed in the loveseat, desk, coffee maker and fridge. It's seen better days, but still a great place when you'd rather spend your cash on food and trinkets.

| Shuttle arrived at airport within 10-15 minutes of call; easily accessible; clean rooms with small refrigerator; comfy beds & hot water; continental breakfast included eggs cooked to order. Great Irish pub a couple doors down! Shuttle driver friendly and great source for nearby restaurants. 24 hour shuttle service anywhere within a 2 mile radius. Shuttle to subway very easy. Have stayed at more expensive hotels in NYC that nowhere near compared..this is where we will go on future visits.
