| The Adolphus Hotel in Dallas Texas provided me and my family with very nice lodgings. The staff is helpful and courteous. The location is convenient to the Dallas Convention Center, which was the focus of my trip to Dallas. The only shortcoming in my view is the lack of a swimming pool on the premises. The Adolphus offers access to the Texas Club, a few blocks away, for an additional fee. This is a nice gesture, but not nearly the same as an on-site pool. I enjoy the ornate architecture in the lobby, etc., although that may not appeal to everyone.

| I would recommend the hotel but not the restaurant in it. It looked lovely, but I think it gave me food poisining. I got very sick the morning after I ate crab cakes there. Hummm, maybe that's why it was so quiet on a Thursday nite. The hotel itself gets a thumbs up. I'd stay there again, but avoid the crab.

| Thoroughly enjoyed every minute spent at the Adolphus! What a classic hotel! Friendly, always accomodating staff...wonderful afternoon tea accompanied by piano...beautifully decorated large rooms...great food. This is a great weekend getaway for couples, even if you live close by. Can't wait to go back!

| Was a nice stay. There was a convention checking in when I checked in so I was a bit down on it at first but my room was old and good sized. Not old like dusty but old like charming. Location is pretty good too. It's not my 1st choice in Dallas but I'd use it as a back up again. If you like old historic spots, you'll love it.
