| We were looking for a hotel with a indoor pool and found it difficult to find in the area so we were happy to find the reasonable price of this hotel. The common areas were clean and neat and the room was too. But one of our two rooms had a strong musty smell. The beds were in bad shape you could see the dip in the middle of all 4 beds. They were very uncomfortable and gave my husband back spazums. He had to sleep on the floor our second night. The pool area was clean but nothing special. The pool is suposed to be heated but it was very cold. The hot tub was so gross we didn't even go in. Mold was all over the tile edge and there appeared to be a film over the top of the water. Nasty!!!!!!!!!!!! The staff was nice, but there family friendly resturant we did not find very family friendly. Do your self a favor and skip this one.

| This hotel seemed like a great place, but when we checked in, our room scared us. The floral on floral on floral decor was mindnumbing, and certainly not conducive to romance. The light switches were camouflaged with wallpaper, so there was some frustrating searching when we first got here to turn on the lights. The beds were very uncomfortble, all we could feel were springs. The staff were very friendly though, and the breakfast buffet quite good. This deserves to be rated a two star accommodation.

| We stayed in this hotel over a long weekend that included 70 degree weather. We were able to sleep with our door open because it was so tranquil and safe. The main building is old and the carpeted elevator stinks but the setting is quaint. We never tried the restaurants so I can't comment on that. Overall, we enojoyed ourselves here but all we did was sleep there.

| While the hotel on a whole is clean and well kept, our overall experience was not wonderful. There are a number of nice amenities, such as the indoor pool, hot tub, game room and resturaunt, but they did not make up for the air conditioner that smelled musty anddid not work properly in the room, the ants in the bathroom, and the $14.95 per person charge for the Sunday brunch that was underwhelming. Vermont is beautiful and we will definitely continue to visit, but with all of the choices for lodging, this would not be our choice again. The dest staff asks you for a credit or debit card when you check in for incidentals, and they actually put a hold of $150 on the debit card of the couple we were travelling with as an estimate of what they would spend. They were told that this was standard practice when a debit card was used. We also used a debit card, and they did not put a hold on our card as well, so it seems that they do not follow their "practices" regularly.

| We really enjoyed our stay at the Cortina Inn. The staff was a pleasure to deal with. We were treated like family and were provided with sterling service on every level. The rooms are well kept and comfortable. Nice balcony with a woodland view. The food was excellent in both on site restaurants. The steak at Theodors Tavern was one of the best I have had anywhere. I would recommend this hotel and will go back again next year. We had a very enjoyable stay. I can be a bit demanding and all of my needs were met with a smile from a profesional and knowedgable staff. When I wanted coffee after coming in from the cold at midnight, the staff took care of my request. Both on site restaurants were closed and the coffee had to be made by the front desk clerk. It was served it to me by the fireplace. I was catered to and coddled and made to feel at home. All in all a very nice place.
