I loved this place! It was like staying at a botanical garden with swimming pools. We stayed in the older (country) part as opposed to the newer (town) high-rise part. I love the "bungalow" feel. If you like the idea of relaxing in a pool surrounded by flowers and palm trees, delicious dining, and quick access to a mall and public transportation... this is the place for you! The staff was always friendly and helpful without waiting to be asked. I was very impressed. My one and only disappointment was that our bed was pretty hard and only a long double rather than a queen. Nevertheless, I do not hesitate to recommend this place. Go and ENJOY!

The air conditioner would not turn on. The sink was so plugged that by the time you wet your toothbrush you had to shut off the water and give 3-4 minutes to drain. We were wet coming back from the pool and put a towel down on the floor as we stood on the towel the dirt was being soaked up out of the carpet. The towel was completely this nasty brown color. This is almost a """" six but for $$$ a night. "Warning stay away from room 3603."

Hotel was okay. It was located centrally to the things we wanted to do. However the rooms are from 1970's. We even upgraded to the Palm Towers which are supposed to be nicer. They were nicer only they were from the 1980's. The $12.00 parking per day is a little stiff. In my opinion there can be nicer places to stay for the same amount of money

Although the price was good, this hotel is somewhat dated and not near downtown. It is more suited for visitors to the them parks(Sea World, SD Zoo, Wild Animal Park)

If you are looking for pefection, this is not the place. However, if you looking for charm, it's here. This once apartment building built in the early 1900s has a beautiful lobby and a small mini kitchen in the room. The room was very clean, but the faucet dripped constantly and the noise outside all night could be heard easily through the window including many fire engine sirens blaring, horns honking, garbage trucks, etc.

Great place to stay if your looking for a place to relax from the everyday rat race. The beds are very comfortable. They have various swiming pools, three restaurants, a beauty and barber shop. The scenery is wonderful. Plenty of parking and security. The location is so large you can go for long peaceful walks. No need to leave the hotel. You can enjoy a long quiet enjoyable stay. I can't wait to return.
