| Phenomenal location and a good Hotel. The front desk staff was not friendly. We showed up at 3pm to check in and found out that our rooms (we had reserved two) were in different hotels (on different streets). The front desk staff was grumpy about giving me two rooms in the same bldg.

| A very nice hotel, with excellent facilities. Some of the electricals and furniture are a bit dated but don't detract from the overall charm. In a safe area of DC too.

| The hotel is located just off M Street, the main drag of Georgetown, so it is a very convinient walk to all the shops and restaurants. Yet it is away from the noise and crowd on M street. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The one bedroom suite we stayed in is adequately furnished except the sofa-bed is worn out and provided less than restful sleep for my daughter. The suite has a kitchen and dining area, great for families or longer stays. This hotel is conviniently located in Georgetown and close to Georgetown University. It provides a good value. WK

| Our family truly enjoyed our stay here. We slept so well as the beds were comfy and it was remarkably quiet in the rooms. We joked that our suite had a "ghost" because we heard odd thumping noises (the ice machine, a/c unit?) but it was never enough to disturb our sleep and we were quickly sensitized to it. The hotel is so close to all the hustle and bustle of Georgetown, the C & O Canal Park, and it is not a bad hike to and from the Metro. After long, hot days of sightseeing we took the Georgetown shuttle (blue bus) from the Metro, although the fare has increased from $.50 to $1.50 per person this past month alone! There are other less expensive shuttles if you don't want to walk, a good tip for older folks or if you have young children. It's also not a bad hike to the Georgetown Potomac waterfront. There was a brochure in the breakfast area for a self-guided Kennedy home walking tour which was very do-able. You can walk on the C & O canal pathway to the Georgetown Park Shopping Center if you want to avoid all the foot traffic on M Street. Overall, we had a delightful visit in D.C. and would stay at Georgetown Suites again in a heartbeat. There are so many places to eat and shop within just a few blocks that we'll have to go back just to try out more of them. The area is very artsy and multi-cultural. My only complaint was that the a/c didn't seem to work in the hallway on the 5th floor, but it was fine in the room.

| This hotel has a great location just off M street, close to the bus line. The suite was very large and comfortable for a long stay. We were there for nine days and didn't feel crowded at all. I would definitely stay there again.

| I wasn't sure what to expect, booking a hotel from across the country, but Georgetown Suites was lovely, had a friendly, helpful staff, and large rooms (and quite a good-sized kitchen!). I was a little nervous about how well I'd sleep, as I don't usually sleep well away from home, but the beds were extremely comfortable, and I had a very restful sleep each night. I would highly recommend this hotel.

| Just a month before I had stayed in a Georgetown hotel that cost three times what I payed for this suite. I'll always go back to the Georgetown Suites, which I actually preferred.

| The hotel is one block from the main drag in Georgetown and this is the block with tons and tons of shopping and places to eat. It was like 5th ave of D.C. 6 blocks from Foggy Bottom Metro station. Got me everywhere I wanted to go in D.C. Day pass was $6.50. Thats the way to go. Stops at every major site to see. The hotel was nice and quite. Had a room with kitchen with full fridge and micro and stove. Nice to have for left overs that I kept after eating out. Breakfast was free in the mornings and was pretty good. Had packaged food for quick grabs and run. Small front desk but they were helpful to point out the metro station and places to go. Only complaint I had with my room.. the air condition rattled when running. But I could live with it.

| This was our first trip to D.C. since 1986, and we were amazed at how wonderful our room was and how convenient it was to everything: the airport, the universities, the restaurants, the shops, and the main attractions in Washington. I am handicapped, and they were very good about supplying a shower chair. Our room was expansive, making it easy to "spread out" after a day of sightseeing and visiting the universities. This was the best hotel we've ever stayed in. I just wish I'd known about it in '86! Thanks for everything!
