River cruises are available from there as well.

| The hotel was nice, clean, and safe. The only change was to have the pool opened longer at night, and have a kid friendly snack bar in the hotel.

| Non-functioning appliances in both room and bathroom (radio, refrigerator). No complimentary shampoo or soap - bring your own toiletries. No complimentary internet access - wireless broadband is charged by the day. Overall, attractive room - issues above were annoying.

| I found the metro station below the hotel to be very useful given that the metro allows acess to most of DC's sights. The room was clean but it the furnishings were old - the TV was 14 inchs, 20 years old probably with bad reception and volume control, the bathroom had a funny looking radio from the 50s, did not turn it on.

| Hotel is very quiet after 6pm. Food and bar is expensive, but is very tasty and served in large amounts. Staff is very polite and helpful. Subway and shopping mall have easy access. Not much there for night life. Very easy access to nearby attractions! Would stay there again.

| Great Hotel with very comfy beds and sheets. Clean throughout. Very helpfull and friendly staff. Metro station underneath which gets you around to most places. No need to drive around, just use the self park and ride the Metro. Mini mall underneath hotel, but closed on the weekends. The only drawback is there is no restaurants or convenience stores close for the weekends, and the hotel restaurant is very expensive. Head to Union Station for a variety of restaurants and shops at reasonable prices. Close to all the museums and monuments. Bring your best walking shoes.

| We stayed for 3 nights, August 20-23 and enjoyed our stay. It is very convenient to the national mall at a 1 1/2 block walk and the subway and mall beneath the hotel made getting around and finding something quick to eat very convenient. We stayed in a parlour room and had a fantastic rate of 89.00 per night. Overall the hotel is quite adequate, but in great need of an upgrade. It is likely you will be disapointed if you are going to pay full price. We received timely and friendly service from almost everyone in the hotel. We would absolutely stay here again if the price were right.

| I booked this hotel as i saw the photos and also needed really a nice place for accomodating my parents visiting US for the 1st time. The room provided was having the worse bathroom i have seen, the doors were really cracky and made a lot of noice if anyone opened it. The only thing i liked was that no one disturbed us and also Starbucks coffee is located within the hotel - for all the coffee addicts like me. Also they charge for the Wireless service.

| We checked in that day and was put in a room that was not desirable so we contacted the manager and we got a really nice room and it overlooked the Potomic River. The hotel is so convienient to the National Mall and other attractions. We walked everywhere and the places that were further rode the metro which was only around the corner. We got passes for the whole week. They were worth the money too. They have little shops and eating places under the hotel but they close up at 6 every night and closed all day sundays. There are a few eating places close by but we hopped the metro and ate in other parts of the city. We had so much fun there and would definately stay there again.
