| For a relativley inexpensive place to sleep it was fine. The room was clean and comfortable. The hallways and outside doors made me think the place has seen better days. There was a stale smell in the lower hall but not in my room. The window in my room was rigged so it could not be opened, so there's no way to get fresh air. The air conditioner was noisy but less irritating than a stuffy room with no fresh air AND too hot.

| My stay at the Red Lion was a disappointment. I did not get any sleep the three nights I was there. Unfortunately, the hotel is situated right next to a railroad track and I had to endure the sound of trains and their whistles every night. My bed was extremely uncomfortable (mattress was too soft and worn). Also, my room was a non-smoking room as were many others on my floor. However, the guests in the room next to mine smoked anyway and I could smell their cigarette smoke coming through the walls. I suffer from asthma and had a terrible time breathing.

| We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Red Lion HOtel Denver Central- a stay lasting 6 days. The room was very comfortable; the lobby and restaurant were beautiful. Most of the staff were very pleasant and helpful, going the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. I will definitely return to this hotel, and since my son now lives in Denver, I know the trips will be more frequent!

| Lobby and meeting facilities are nice, but the hotel / rooms are a little tired. The alarm clock was set in the "on" position and the lamp was not functioning. Breakfast buffet in the restaurant was not very exciting either.

| This hotel is trying to improve on an old structure that is placed in an awkward location. For a bed upon a late arrival in Denver with an early am flight, the hotel is OK.

| This hotel was better than we expected! We got a very nice and roomy room for our family of 4. The receptionnists are extremely helpful and prompt. Our room faced the swimming pool and we slept throught the nights without any problem (no train?). The pool, however, was somewhat on the dirty side and can use more frequent clean-ups. We ate breakfast in the lobby twice and like it generally (the service was a bit slow). Their shuttle to/from the airport was convenient as well. Overall, we'll stay there again.

| Rooms were extremely small. Lobby area was deceiving as actual hotel and rooms were unclean and maintained an odor. Carpeting and fixtures were old and dingy. Poor circulation in the rooms. Many young kids hanging out partying at this hotel and on a Saturday night, there was no where for the actual guests of the hotel to park. I would not recommend this hotel and will not return in the future.
