Features
What to expect: Set in the chic Chevy Chase Pavilion—a shopping center with boutiques, offices, and restaurants—the hotel opens to a huge 10-story atrium that is seasonally decorated. It accesses a section of Wisconsin Avenue, called by some the Rodeo Drive of Washington, D.C. Guests are close to upscale shopping, neighborhood restaurants, a multi-screen movie theater complex, and easy entrance to the D.C. subway system. The hotel hosts mostly business travelers during the week, while leisure travelers arrive on weekends. Amenity highlights: The fitness center is free to hotel guests, and the indoor rooftop swimming pool has a skylight and wall of windows. Underground parking with elevators to the hotel lobby and express check-in and checkout make this hotel a pleasure to visit. Wireless Internet access is available for a surcharge. Insider tip: Fort Reno Park, about a half-mile from the hotel, is great for picnics and relaxing, and has three tennis courts available on a first-come, first-served basis. A stage is used for concerts in the summer, usually on Monday and Thursday evenings.
Guests of the hotel enjoy a complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast each morning. Nearby restaurants: Cheesecake Factory Clyde’s Chadwick’s Bambili

| Great rooms, far better than expected breakfast, gracious staff, comfortable bed and good towels. What more could you want? Only caveat: it would have been nice if Internet acces is free. Notwithstanding this, we will definitely return on next trip to DC...

| Upon check in I was told they had run out of non-smoking rooms even though I had paid for a non-smoking room. When I demanded that they place me in a sister hotel with a non-smoking room they were able to find the non-smoking room that I paid for in advance. While most staff members were extremely helpful and nice I did have a few that were rude to me. The rude ones are the ones that leave an impression. All in all however, most all staff members were extremely helpful and nice. The room was always clean every day when we returned from a day of sight seeing. METRO - being right on the metro station made this an ideal location for seeing the DC area. Roughly a 15 minute ride to the mall and easy access to all locations.

| This Embassy Suites was a fantastic hotel. A few metro stops outside the DC area but well worth the extra few minutes. We travelled with our 10 year old who really enjoyed the pool, and game station in the room. Made to order breakfast each morning was over the top!! Convenient access to metro...right in hotel. Excellent stores on first two floors...gave discounts to hotel visitors. Front desk staff greeted us by name when passing by, everyone is important to them! Would highly recommend!

| This was a very quiet and private hotel. The accomadations were relaxed and easy to get to. Travel from it by way of the metro was supubre. We were able to get to any and all tourist sites from the metro and it was so clean and accomadating. I had no fear while traveling day or night. Very good.

| Service was poor all the way around. Bellman was never anywhere to be found. Front desk and bellman did not give proper directions and were unfamiliar with area restaurants, attractions, etc. Hotel needs renovation! Dirty carpet. The bathroom sink had a very bad leak which we reported 3 times. It's interesting that they have a "water conservation" sign when they don't seem to care much about water leaking (only when it comes time to wash the towels and sheets!) Parking is a hassle!! Each time you leave the hotel, you need to WAIT in line at the front desk to get your parking validated or you will pay each time you leave the parking garage. Daily parking is $15.00 which they automatically put on your bill.

| This is our fourth stay at the Embassy Suites Chevy Chase Pavillion and we will stay here again. The service is excellent, the breakfast is superb and the location is great. Just two blocks from the Metro - very convenient.

| This is a unique set up for a hotel. It is actually inside the mall, but surprisingly quiet and private. Close to fine dining, obviously shopping, and a short metro trip to any and all monuments, museums, etc. Staff was kind and helpful. Rooms very nice, clean, and bed was extremely comfortable. No complaints. Would definitely return.
