| The hotel is a good value. It is very affordable for an ocean front hotel. Ocean Annie's beach bar which is located next door is a cool place to listen to music and have a drink.

| I would completely recommend Sands Ocean Club Resort. It is in the perfect location in Myrtle Beach, right between barefoot landing and Broadway at the Beach. We loved the fact you could hear the live music from Ocean Annie's while we were relaxing on the beach. Maid service was a bit slow, but besides that we completely enjoyed our stay.

| We were on our honeymoon. We arrived at 12:30, they told us we couldn't check in until 3:00, so we were fine with that until 3:00 came around and they said they were still not ready for us, we finally got in there at 4:30, which is not fair when check out is 11:00 a.m. When we got to our room, it was nice except for the fact that the cleaning lady was still cleaning our fridge! The inside pool and hot tubs are filthy, they are a geenish color, we complaned and they said it was from tanning oils! So we went to the outside pool which was filled with people, anybody from the beach could come into the pool because of Ocean Annies the bar was open to the public so there for everybody and anybody was in the pool so we did not even get to go in there once during the whole week. The nicest pool was the lazy river which was only 3 feet and very small, and they do not have enough tubes for everybody. If your going to relax it's not a place to go, Ocean annies is very annoying when your trying to lay out by the pool and you have a bunch of drunk people right there! We couldn't wait to go home.

| It was an average hotel. Service was certainly lacking. Our room did not get cleaned nor trash emptied one day. The next day we called several times for more sheets and blankets and never received them. Some elevators were out of service so there was always a long wait. Some things were good -- The view was fantastic and the Live music on the beach was great! I would probably not return.
