| Was a little worried after some mixed reviews but was overall satisfied with what we received. Our room was roomy and clean. This is an older hotel with each condo individually owned so each room is a little different. The seclusion of the beach is what we loved the most. In some cases we felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. This was not a 5 star facility but we liked it and we would go back.

| We would stay again.Second time for this family of six.If you want action, stay at the Sands Beach Club.ALL rooms oceanfront in the building we were in.We froze up the AC coils.Maintenance responded within one hour.We had turned it down too low because of a dirty filter.Maid service accomodated our schedule and cleaned everything. With only five days notice for the July 4 holiday, Expedia had the best selection of rooms available for 6 people.

| Hotel is located at the end of a road, right on the ocean. All rooms are oceanfront, so your balcony seems like you are right on top of the water. Very quiet location as well. We were there during bike week and there were thousands of bikes at Myrtle Beach, and we did not hear anything once in our room, except for the sounds of the ocean. Would definitely recommend.

| The basic condition of the Hotel lobby, hallways, parking garage were fine. There was a nice breakfast buffet and beautiful views everywhere you look. The room however was terrible. Furniture and rugs were stained and dirty. Headboards were not attached to the beds, ceiling coming down in bathroom, ceiling fan covered with dust and your shoe stuck to the ceramic floor when you walked on it.

| My family and I were totally unimpressed with the Sands. It did not took too bad from the outside, but the inside was a different story. The place is totally outdated and the room we stayed in (a 2 bedroom suite) was somewhat shabby. The water pressure for the kitchen sink was terrible. The towels that were delivered every day were stiff and smelled like they had been sitting around for ages. The housekeeping staff did a great job of vaccuming, but a terrible job of cleaning the bathrooms. They did not bother wiping off the mirrors and did a lousy job on the sinks. Yuck! The only good parts were being right on the beach, and that the kids enjoyed the tennis courts. I would not stay there again, nor would I recommend the place to anyone.

| The hotel sits on a beautiful beach. We had a great view from our room. Our suite & the hotel in general were in need of redecorating. It was clean, but the TVs in our suite had very fuzzy pictures & no color. The bed in the master was not very comfortable. However, for a 2 bedroom suite with an ocean view, it was a really good price. I would not have been satisfied if the price weren't so reasonable. It was fine for the cost. If you're looking for luxury - look elsewhere - if you're looking for economical - it's great!
