Features
What to expect: The atrium lobby hums with activity as guests set out for appointments in nearby Congressional offices or relax with a cup of coffee between conference sessions in the hotel's 41,000-square-foot meeting space. Amenity highlights: The hotel offers a wide range of services, from a shoe-shine stand to full-scale convention planning. Insider tip: One of Washington’s more unusual tourist opportunities is a visit to the U.S. Supreme Court, located five blocks from the hotel. The Court hears oral arguments three days a week at two-week intervals from October to April, and a gallery is open to the public on a first-come, first-seated basis. Visitors should dress appropriately and arrive early. When the Court is not in session, free lectures are held every 30 minutes, 9:30 AM–3:30 PM.
Perks Coffee and More - A grab-and-go coffee bar in the lobby offers Starbucks coffee, Krispy Kreme donuts, pastries, snacks, salads, pizza, and more. NetWorks Lounge- This lobby bar shows news and sports on several television sets and serves appetizers, sandwiches, beer, wine, and cocktails. Park Promenade - Located in the atrium, this restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a weekday lunch theme buffet.

| Good Location - close to Union Station and the U.S. Capitol and on the Metro Red Line so it was very easy to get around using public transportation instead of taxis. Entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean with our own temperature control, beds were very comfortable, and the complimentary coffee was thoroughly enjoyed. We thought the restaurant was a bit pricey but we found it to be within the guidelines of other restaurants in Washington, D.C. Their food was very good and the service was truly excellent. Really enjoyed our stay and we will return.

| Nice hotel close to the Capitol. Service was good except for the Concierge who I did not see in the first four days of a ten day trip. Concierge was not helpful at all. If you plan a leisure trip plan your own events. Restaurant was good but menu was limited and expensive. Overall room was good and quiet.

| Being only 2 blocks from the Capital and Union Station, all of DC is readily accessible from the hotel. The staff are very helpful. The services are very good, especially the breakfast buffet. The fitness center is not available 24 hrs. The business center is available (with credit card) at all times.

| The hotel was great, however, our arrival was frustrating. We were arriving late due to plane delays and called the hotel to confirm our room. They advised there would be no problem for our late check in for our 2 queen beds. Upon arrival they had release all 2 queen beds and only had a king size, which had it been just me and my husband, however we have a 13 yr old and 8 yr old. They would not fit on the roll out bed that was offered. They made arrangements for us and resolved it the next morning. To compensate us we received complimentary breakfasts during our stay. Everyone was very friendly. I would caution you not to walk opposite from the Captiol past the hotel (north west) There were many homeless people, that were frightening our children. However south and east were ok. The pool was strange....it was metal, yes metal, however very clean.

| Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in August, 2006. Found it to be great location for sight seeing and using the old town trolley tour. Clean, well maintained and great service. Would stay there again.

| Needing to keep the drapes drawn in room 200 and 202 was a necessity but otherwise nice, clean hotel rooms with reasonable service. The hotel bar area gets overrun when any event lets out.

| The location was perfect for seeing the National Mall and Capital area--only blocks away. Great hot breakfast buffet, 15-20 different selections. The service from porters to front desk to food service was excellent. We got local travel tips, directions and prompt, caring service. We took our family and had an excellent vacation. Very safe area, room was not very large but bathroom was roomy. I would stay here for business OR pleasure.
