| This hotel was very overpriced and it sold itself as a resort. It was far from a resort. There were not enough towels for showers, the spa in the pool area was filthy. The resturant closed for 4 hours during the day and there is no where near by to eat. I tried to make a massage appointment and the girl never called me back. Don't waste your money.

| The hotel was clean and courteous. The best part was the frequent and convenient shuttle service. The downside was because it was on the top of a steep hill with nothing else near to walk. If you wanted to stay and eat, the restaurant often didn't have everything it listed on it's already limited menu.

| My boyfriend and I loved this hotel. The room was beautiful and had the most comfortable beds and pillows we've ever slept on. They offer a round trip complimentary shuttle service to and from your cruise. It also shuttles you from your hotel to and from Avalon whenever you want up to 8:45pm. The pool area is stunning. It has gorgeous tropical landscaping, large blue pool and jacuzzi...really nice photo background!

| The hotel was under major construction, the pool was not functional and they have been waiting for the part and maintenance worker from CA to fix it. We had to change rooms 3 times for noise, first from other tenants and the other two times because of construction. The last time they moved us into a room directly below a room under major renovation and they worked from 8am -7:30 pm on the room. It was very noisy and uncomfortable.

| The best hotel I've gone so far. Staff is courteous and it's nice to have the shuttle that takes guests to downtown every 15 minutes. Room is clean. I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone else.

| This hotel was a big disappointment. First, our room was down a steep ramp on the bottom floor and overlooking (oversmelling) the jacuzzi. Since my wife had just had knee surgery, we asked for a more accessible room. The manager was downright rude and would only do so after we insisted. This rude attitude carried to other staff including the front desk clerks and maids. When we got a new room, we reported the hair dryer was falling off the wall at least 3 times. No one ever fixed it during the 4 days we were there. The sheets constantly smelled of very heavy chlorine. Made it difficult to sleep. Then on the 3rd day, they had some kind of plumbing problem that made the hot water temperature fluctuate between warm and scalding. Again, they didn't fix the problem -- just passed out flyers saying they were sorry. I heard several complaints from other guests including spoiled food served in the restaurant (and no refund offered). The carpets in the hallways and elevators were filthy. All in all, this is the worst "Best Western" I have ever stayed in. To the hotel's credit, they do run a convenient shuttle into town. It would probably be a very nice property with proper maintenance and a halfway courteous/helpful staff.

| A little off the way but with continuous free shuttle to the town's plaza and the docking area. Nice terraces and interior garden area.
