| Attached to Gatwick airport's North Terminal, this hotel offered very good service and nice, soundproof rooms. It was our best night's sleep since being in Europe all week. It was wonderful being able to dine at one of the hotel's nice restaurants then make our way to the South Terminal without ever having to go outside.

| With any airport hotel, you pay for the convenience. It's great being 5 minutes from your room to the check-in desk. The hotel looked impressive, but it's pretty standard. A very normal hotel room with in-room coffee (instant) and without the extra touches that you may anticipate from a Sofitel. I ate at their Brasserie restaurant which was pricey for the quality and a mediocre wine list. The service was excellent throughout and the staff very attentive and polite. I'd recommend staying here for the ease of getting to the check-in desks, but that's about all.

| The staff is very friendly and the location in the airport is unbeatable. It's a bit pricy but if you have big luggage and an early flight it is worth every penny. With the train station also in the airport you can drop into the city for dinner and still have a place to sleep close to your flight. The hotel isn't to luxurious but it has what you need for a night.

| This hotel was very accomodating to our family's 11:45pm check-in. Our rooms were comfortable and the after hours room service was excellent. We were traveling with Seniors and a toddler and even though I'd consider this hotel more suitable for business travelers, the Staff were generally friendly and helpful overall.

| Being able to walk a few steps to the airport ... literally ... is the first bonus which makes early morning or late evening arrivals and departures from Gatwick so much easier. I walked into the airport in the evening to buy some stationary, then again an hour later to check in for the next morning's flight. It took a few minutes each time. The staff are wonderful, the service is four star and the food in the restaurants, worthy of the smae rating. It is a very contemporary, very clean hotel with such comfortable down bedding and matresses, you cannot fail to sleep well. We stayed twice, once going to Nice and then on the return. Brilliant!

| London Sofitel Gatwick was a wonderful hotel right at Gatwick Airport. The room was large, by English standards, very clean and extremely quiet(did not hear any planes). It is a great place to stay if you have arrived late, or have an early departure, as it is connected via tunnel to the North Terminal.

| Connected to Gatwick's North Terminal, this place is reasonably priced, with efficient staff, clean (and quiet) nice-sized rooms and great beds! It's a bit soulless of course (it's an airport hotel!) but all the shops, restaurants and bars of the airport are on your doorstep and the town of Horley is not so far away.
