What to expect: Guests staying in this modern hotel can reach two malls and the Hynes Convention Center via a skywalk on one side, and stairs and an escalator on the other. They can also walk about 3 blocks without ever leaving a climate-controlled environment. The focal point of the ground-level registration area is a set of escalators to hotel restaurants, lounges, and a gift shop. Amenity highlights: In addition to its 74,000 square feet of meeting space and 36 meeting rooms, the hotel claims to have the largest ballroom in New England. The full-service mailing facility provides shipping materials and services to and from conferences, with UPS and Federal Express package delivery. All guests receive free access to the large health club with a heated lap pool, spa, and fitness room. Massages are available for a fee. Insider tip: Tickets for historic tours of Boston with Old Town Trolley Tours may be purchased at the concierge desk, and the trolleys are accessible in front of the lobby. The hotel plans to provide easier access to Boston Duck Tours in the summer of 2003, when the amphibious vehicles will be parked across the street from the hotel. This hotel is 1 block from the exciting Boston Marathon finish line.
Gourmeli's - This 260-seat, casual restaurant serves American cuisine—including its award-winning clam chowder—and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The buffet breakfast includes a variety of cereals and juices and made-to-order omelets. There's also a small bar area and private dining room in the back. Champions American Sports Bar - This bar is open for lunch and dinner, serving American cuisine such as hamburgers, fish sandwiches, soups, and salads. Six satellite dishes receive up to 25 different sporting events at one time. The bar is especially popular with local Boston athletes, including boxers and members of the Red Sox and Celtics teams. The Sushi Bar - This comfortable, sit-down sushi bar serves freshly made Japanese delicacies and sake. The seaweed salad, miso soup, and nigiri sushi are popular for lunch and dinner. The Terrace Lounge - Friends and coworkers enjoy meeting over cocktails and appetizers here, where two malls provide great opportunities for people-watching. A pianist or jazz trio often entertains on weekday evenings. On Friday and Saturday nights, a dance band starts playing at 9 PM. Starbucks - This coffee shop serves freshly brewed specialty coffees and teas and a variety of baked goods, sandwiches, and snacks. Bake Shop - This is one of the few hotels to provide an on-site bakery that serves fresh muffins, cookies, and cakes daily.

| We had 2 rooms (3 adults, 2 teens - all women)Aug.27-Sep.1. Chose the Marriott for location, it is between 3 MBTA stations (2 green, 1 orange ). College touring so location was important. As it turned out with 3 days of rain the ability to walk indoors to eat or grab a train kept us dry. The front desk couldn't have been more helpful, even printed our boarding passes. Rooms are very spacious for Boston, nice beds, nice views, OK bathrooms. The fridges in rooms don't get real cold, just call front desk and they will bring a real fridge. There is a Shaw's supermarket across street to get water, bagels, etc. Beware of internet because even if you log in only once you pay for every night of your stay - only login if going to really use. Pool and fitness were nice but crowded (rainy out). Nice sushi bar in restaurant otherwise overpriced basic hotel restaurants. Slow elevators were an annoyance. Housekeeping was poor, didn't appear to really be cleaned and failed to replace coffee, teabags most nights. Other than maid service excellent choice of hotel for anyone.

| We had a nice fly/stay package at this hotel which was well situated and elegant. The only complaint was that the beds were not the most comfortable. Ours was far too soft.

| The Marriott Copley was an excellent hotel. From the moment we arrived we were treated wonderfully. The check-in was totally effortless. The bellhops were very friendly. There was even a tour desk and car rental in the lobby. No one minded answering questions. The room was spacious and extremely clean. The view from the room was spectacular. The hotel was situated close to the subway, but the bellhops were always there to hail a cab. The two mall connected to the hotel were excellent. Overall, this was perhaps the best hotel experience I have ever had. I would recommend it to anyone!!!!!

| Everything was a pleasant experience. We were at a large convention, and there was never even a long wait for the elevators. The concierge was most helpful, and the staff was competent and prompt.

| Comfy convenient hotel right at the Copley Place Mall & Prudential Center, reasonably priced with all the standard amenities. Can't go wrong with this one.
