The location of this hotel is unbeatable, the customer service could be improved (we asked for the safe box key when we got there and never got it; we were four in one room and we had to ask every day for 2 more towels because they kept just giving us 2). Besides that the hotel is excellent.

Small hotel in good location. Unfortunately, location is not an important factor in LA...you will need to drive anyways. Room is small and dated. Not bad for the price but for an extra $20,it's not hard to find a nicer hotel in West LA with free parking.

Stayed at Bev. Pav. due to recommendation of friend. He was correct, the location is great for the price. The whole Hotel was "dated". I had booked a suite with sofa bed since we had 3 in our party. No sofa bed. They did send a roll-away, which worked, but then charged me extra. I talked to manager who deducted from bill. On the plus side, very friendly staff. Never saw anyone in the dining room (very small). Not much of a lounge for cocktails. Overall, nice location, but could use improvements. I would have paid extra and gotten something nicer if I had to do it again.

We were supposed to be given either a queen bed or two doubles. When we got there, the bed was rather small, definitely not a queen. We went to ask the front desk about it, and he said that was the hotel's queen size. But, it wasn't a busy night, and he gave us a free upgrade to a corner room with a big bed.

1. Some of the staff at the front desk were not friendly nor were they knowlegeable about the neghborhood. Questions like, "Where is the nearest Starbucks,""Where is the closest drug store," and What nearby seafood restaurant do you recommend," could not be answered. 2. Gift packages were left at the front desk to be given to us when we checked in. These packages were from a wedding we were attending. They were not given to us at check-in. The next day, when I learned of the gift packages, I called down to the front desk and they said they would be delivered to our room. They were delivered - 2 days later after two additional reminder calls to the front desk. 3. The hotel did not sell newspapers and there were none available in the hotel.
