| The lobby smelled musty and old. The room was outdated. The carpet was pulling away from the wall and frayed in several areas of the room. The bathroom floor was dirty. The tub was clogged. The ice machine on the 3rd floor sat in the hallway as an eyesore for those three days. Someone appeared to be working on it for the three days to repair it. The staff was not very friendly.

| This is the third time I have stayed at the Boulder Broker Inn over the last 2 years. Initially I thought it was a fun, nice place set in a funky Victorian/Western style with a tremendous breakfast. This time, Aug '06, the place smelled bad, looked very ragged, the internet never worked on the guest computer, and the breakfast served had coffee with 1/4 of the cup being grounds and bagels with only butter and no knife to spread it with. And the employees all seemed to not know what to do. I have recommended this place before, but no longer. Looks like I need to find another favorite Boulder hotel.

| Staff was friendly enough, the hotel itself interesting. Everything worked ok. It's a little dog-eared, but no complaints. It's a fake antique, which is kind of odd. Or amusing, depending upon your mood.

| This is a moderately priced hotel with good service and decent food. The rooms were under renovation and the hotel was filled with dust etc. The pool could be nice, but neglected. Location is great. We'll have to try again after renovation is complete.

| The Boulder Broker Inn is not brand new, so don't expect luxury and up-to-date rooms. The decor Victorian style, and the rooms are mostly clean and slightly shabby, in a rather endearing way. The location is great, and with free breakfast and free wireless internet I would stay there again next time I visit Boulder.

| a really nice area, a small interesting hotel, the service is not so good, takes them forever to pick up the phone, if they ever do. Hotel Check in and Check out took longer than the airport wait, pretty ridiculous given that I was the only one in line. Needs maintenance, especially the lounge area.

| Classy hotel done in old dark wood paneling with nice rooms. It is basically on campus. The only down side is that the facilities are getting old. You can tell it wasn't built recently, but they do a good job keeping it clean. Our first room had a shower drainage problem, so they moved us to another right away and had no problems there.
