Features
What to expect: Elegant French decor and top-notch service distinguish this contemporary downtown hotel. Vacationers enjoy being near the city's best shops, while business travelers return for the luxurious service and proximity to the business district. Families welcome the children's programs and indoor swimming pool. Amenity highlights: The Sutton Place ranks service as its most important amenity—guest preferences are tracked for future reference. For relaxation, there's an atrium pool and spa adjoining a peaceful patio, and Le Spa, offering Swedish and shiatsu massage, and body treatments using hot and cool stones. Room service and a business center with computer-equipped workstations are available 24 hours a day. Insider tip: Robson Street, Vancouver's eclectic and fashionable strip of youth-conscious clothing stores, is a see-and-be-seen kind of shopping experience just 1 block from the hotel. Great Canadian News Company, 2 blocks away, is the place to buy foreign magazines and newspapers.
Fleuri - Fine French cuisine fashioned from seasonal Pacific Northwest products is the attraction at this lobby-level restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. Full-course table d'hôte dinners are featured, along with signature dishes such as filet of turbot, roast quail, and lightly smoked rack of lamb. Guests who don't see what they want on the menu can make their preferences known to the kitchen in advance, and the chef will oblige. The chocolate buffet is legendary. Gerard Lounge - An intimate lounge reminiscent of a private English club complete with fireplace, leather furnishings, wood paneling, soft sconce lighting, and landscape paintings. Movie stars and showbiz types, many of whom stay at Sutton Place's luxury apartments when filming in Vancouver, are often seen here.

| The hotel and staff were superb! Everyone was very gracious and helpful, day or night. The room itself was very nice and very well maintained by the housekeeping staff. Paper was delivered daily. Location was great for getting around the city. Taxis were available 24/7 if you are not in a walking mode, along with bell service. Gift shop has accessible hours and the breakfast buffet was great. Booked two day trips through the hotel and all went very well. Would definitely stay here again.

| Centally located in downtown Vancouver the Sutton Place Hotel is truly a five star hotel. The Grand Suite was just that, very large and very grand. My daughter will never get over the size of the plasma TV! Highly recommended.

| I would return to this hotel although there are better values in central Vancouver. The hotel and service were terrific. Although I understand that on weekends it is full with the cruise people. Don't eat breakfast in their dining room. Way too expensive, the quality was so-so. Many other choices right in the neighborhood. Lovely tea in the room but if you want a second bag you have to pay $2.50. Really - when did tea get to be the price of oil?
