| Air filtration system not good. Non-smoking room reaked of smoke all night long. Very helpful and friendly staff. Close to historic district and galleries.

| The room was great with a nice newer model tv. The hotel bar served stiff drinks and offered a nice courtyard to relax in. The free breakfest left a little to be desired, but overall a nice place to stay.

| I chose this hotel because I needed an extended stay on short notice. This was the only hotel in Taos that was available for the time I needed it. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They serve a complimentary breakfast with four options cooked to order (tip not included). The food was OK. The rooms on the first floor facing the pool have doors which open to the outside, as well as the inside. This may be convenient for those planning to make extensive use of the pool. The outside door on my unit had gaps around it, so as to let in the noise from the pool and the occasional crawly critter. I would recommend a good supply of paper towels to deal with whatever critters you encounter. The kids that were there seemed to enjoy the pool. They used it well into the evening every night, so it must have been OK. I was lucky enough to share the hotel with kids attending a little league tournament for a week, and the kids gave the pool a real workout. I spent a great deal of time in my room (working) so smells bothered me. I bought a plug-in air freshener to get past this. The non-smoking rooms in my part of the hotel were across the hall from the smoking rooms. Whenever a smoker stayed across the hall, they shared their smoke with me. Wireless internet service is marginal, unless you are close to the office. They do not have a business center. Verizon has National Access service in the area (though using this eliminated the need for wireless internet in the hotel).

| If you have a car, this is a great choice for those who want to spend less on hotels and more on the wonderful Taos art. The plaza is only a short drive away.

| The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The vanity was rather small, but it was separate from the shower/toilet area, which was nice. The lobby area around the lounge smelled smoky, but our room did not smell smoky at all. I didn't go swimming, but the pool and spa looked clean and well-maintained. I need to use a medical device at night, but there was not an outlet available close to the bed. I mentioned this to someone at the front desk, and within a few minutes, a friendly maintenance man appeared at my door with a long extension cord. Breakfast was good! Nothing fancy, but it was hot and well-prepared.

| This hotel is located south of the plaza area in a commercial strip leading to town. The room was motel basic: 2 queen beds, table and chairs, iron, hair dryer and coffee in the room. The breakfast included in the rate was prepared to order and served by a waitress. Considering the low price paid, it was entirely adequate and I will probable stay there again.
