| The Tower has a very friendly and helpful staff. We really enjoyed our stay. The only down side is they are remodeling the hotel and there is construction. Overall, good place to stay and catch a cab to Bourbon Street.

| Personnel were friendly and helpful, but the hotel had a bad smell in the corridors. The first room we got had extremely bad odors. We changed to a different room for the second night. Housekeeping at this hotel definitely needs to be improved. Common areas were not very clean

| Our hotel room and bathroom was not clean. There were multiple problem which I told specifically to the manager who assured us it would be taken care of. When we returned to the hotel later that evening, however, nothing had been done and the housekeeping staff was gone. The shower and vanity were dirty and there was a cigarette butt in the toilet in our 'non smoking' room. Additionally, our reservations were mixed up. We were staying two nights. When we returned on the second day after being gone all day, we could not get into our room because they had reformatted the keys, thinking we had overstayed our reservation. Once we got into the room, we had not had maid service. Because of this, we had to move to a new room at midnight.Since we had booked on-line and already paid, we didn't want to cancel our reservation the second day and there was no way to be compensated finacially by the hotel.Overall, worse hotel stay ever.

| Poor management, I hope. Although a busy Sugar Bowl week end, rooms were dirty and hallways very unkept. Although going through renovation, there is no excuse no toliets not being clean. I heard many complaints at the desk regarding the same problems. Keys did work rooms and condoms found in the bed linens. A clean up session and it would be decent hotel. The rooms were large and the bed comfortable.

| Hotel is on south side of river from New Orleans, is very hard to get to from overhead expressway (poor directions), and not in the best of areas. We did not feel safe at all. Hotel is old and under renovation - paint smell, moldings off, carpet ragged and torn, generally poor shape. Hotel staff didn't seem to give a hoot. What is that phrase - "customer service" - they never heard of it.Circular building - rooms are very good size, noise was not a problem and we faced the expressway, and bed was quite good. Bathroom was not good.

| Overall the service and the room at this hotel were pretty good. Best feature is that it's close to New Orleans(quick bus or taxi ride) and was still very affordable
