| The Reinvention of Courtyard by Marriott: The Courtyard Overland Park is undergoing a renovation and enchancement of guest rooms and public space through December 15 2005. Rooms are being updated with additional television channels, larger workspace, an upgraded bedding package and fresh new bathroom decor. A totally redesigned lobby will include a business library and twenty-four hour self-service pantry for food and beverage items. There will be periods throughout the renovation process when the front desk and restaurant will be temporarily relocated. Front desk services will continue and a modified menu will be served during this time. | My husband and I stayed at this hotel as an overnight stop on our way across country. After a day of driving, the hotel was very pleasant and didn't suffer many of the standard issues such as loud hallways, loud guests, and uncomfortable smells in the room. It was just what we needed and we'll be sure to return the next time we're in Overland Park.

| A few of us stayed here for a family reunion in KC. Right down the street from Jack Stack's BBQ. Too long of line at the restaurant, so we got carry out and brought it back to hotel. They were so nice to let us use the breckfast area to eat our BBQ altogether! Then we went out to the courtyard, which was full of trees and sat in the gazebo. Rooms were very nice with small couch, desk chair & 2 patio chairs. It was very nice to have a balcony you could sit on to get fresh air vs. the high rise hotels w/o balconies that were near by. Breckfast had excellent choices and a very great waitress! Highly recommend anyone to stay here!

| The hotel was nice but not the easiest to get to. The bed was great. I usually sleep lousy in a hotel but this one was nice. The only downside was 8$ for a breakfast buffet. There was a Panera Bread a couple of blocks away which took care of that problem. Overall a good place to stay.
