| The hotel was very easy to get to and a great central location to Tampa and beach attractions. The room was roomy and the sink, refrigerator and microwave was a great amenity. A large desk/table area allowed us to eat in the room. Pool towels were provided. A very comfortable stay.

| My husband and I planned a weekend getaway to clearwater and decided on this hotel to stay in and I am extremely glad we did. The hotel is only about 15 minutes to both beaches and a mile away from lots of restaraunts and a mall. On top of its great location we were extremely impressed with the room and pool area. At first glance we were a little worried because the hotel looked a little rundown, but as soon as we walked in the room all worries were vanished. The rooms were extremely spacious and very clean. The pool area was very nice too and the hot tub was great.

| We were told by everyone not to go to the Howard Johnson's, but we did anyway, and we were very pleased. In fact, I recommended my parents to stay there when they came to the area. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and I felt safe being there. The only drawback is that it sits on a busy highway (US 19) and there is a lot of construction going on there. Also, you have at least a 20 minute drive to any of the gulf beaches. But there are restaurants, a mall, mini golf, and shopping close by (although there is nothing within walking distance). It is a great place to stay if you want to save some money and don't mind the drive to do your sightseeing. Also, they let you have pets!
