The Days Hotel is basically okay. Rooms were comfortable and clean, and the lobby area is undergoing some updating. One advantage of the hotel is that it is attached to an IHOP, which is open extended hours. Road noise from proximity to the interstate is a con, but not a big one.

One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in! Run down, dirty, and smelly. The kind of place where you don't even want to sit on the soiled and stained furniture. Do not stay here.

Looks decent on the outside, but that's about it. Hall carpets stained and smelly.

I stayed here for a few days on a visit to New Orleans. I was surprised at the good room rate, but when checking in many people were there having problems with their reservations. It seemed this Days Inn did not recognize or honor confirmation numbers - very strange. My reservation was fine thank God. The hotel was booked full 3 out of the 4 nights I was there I believe. The place is a bit run down but in a good location, just off I-10 in Metairie. Most annoying thing to me is that high speed internet was supposed to be available in rooms but did not work in my room at least, and other hotel guests were down in the lobby where access seemed OK. Also for some reason our card key kept getting deactivated, had to have it reset 3 times during our stay. Will probably look elsewhere next time.

Hotel was very clean. It would have really helped if they had actually had Dial-up Internet available instead of supplying a phone for a long distance call back to mine.

This hotel is not in a prime location, but is quite good for the price and just a short drive from the French Quarters. I was quite satisfied.

We stayed here two nights and had no problems whatsoever. The room was clean, the A/C worked and we had hot water. Can't ask for much more than for the price. Would definitely stay again.
