Harbor Court Hotel Amenities
The hotel’s health club has an 800-square-foot indoor splash pool, spa tub, tanning bed (fee charged), sauna, and regulation-sized racquetball court that can be turned into a volleyball court (fee charged). The fitness room has 11 weight machines, three treadmills, free weights, two exercise bikes, four stair and two cross-country machines. There’s also an array of spa services available for a fee, including make-up lessons, chair massages, and facials. Outside the health club, near a rooftop courtyard, is a tennis and basketball court that overlook the city. In summer, the courtyard has clusters of umbrella tables and chairs. Inside the hotel, leather-bound volumes in several languages line the shelves of the library off the lobby. Damask-covered armchairs and velvet couches provide inviting places to read, though guests can also take books to their rooms. A short, second-floor corridor serves as a rotating gallery for local artists.

Features
What to expect: Harbor Court Hotel guests include well-heeled business and leisure travelers ,celebrities, and small groups. The two-story lobby of this 1986 hotel, with marble floors, ceiling mural, and sweeping curved wooden staircase, is a favorite meeting place. Amenity highlights: Located on the seventh floor, a health club offers everything from aquatic aerobics in the indoor pool to racquetball to aromatherapy body polishes. Guests can unwind with a drink and cigar in the Explorer’s Lounge; tucked away in the room’s southeast corner is an alcove with sweeping views of the harbor. Insider tip: Less than one mile south of the hotel is Federal Hill, an old neighborhood that’s been rediscovered. A popular attraction is Cross Street Market, a 19th-century brick building at the corner of Cross and Light streets where produce and food stalls are open daily.
Hampton’s - Known locally as a place for special-occasion dinners, Hampton’s seats 65 in a lofty room with rose-and-gold walls and arched windows facing the Inner Harbor. Tuxedo-clad servers serve contemporary American cuisine, and a sommelier is on hand to recommend wine. Hampton’s also offers a Sunday champagne brunch. Brighton’s - Yellow watered-silk walls and cream-colored French antique reproductions make this 55-seat restaurant appropriate for afternoon teas. Brighton’s also serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Explorer’s Lounge - A mammoth brass gong at the entrance to the bar sets the exotic tone of this safari-themed lounge, which offers fine scotches, cognacs, cocktails, and cigars from late morning to late evening. Cushy leather chairs are grouped around leopard-print rugs, with murals of wild animals on the walls. A jazz trio performs Thursday through Saturday, and the baby-grand piano is available to guests. Expresso, Etc. - With entrances from the lobby and from Light Street, this tiny shop sells coffee, pastries, a small assortment of sandwiches, and sundries such as pantyhose and toothpaste. A few tables and chairs are available.

| I truly enjoyed the top quality service I received while staying at the Harbor Court. The bed was plush and relaxing--the bathroom was all marble. The extras like a TV and telephone in the bathroom just put it over the top. The location of this hotel is great for those that want to experience the Inner Harbor--as it is only 1/2 a block away. I enjoyed the Inner Harbor and went to a Monday Night Football game later that night. The Raven's and Orioles Staduims are only about 3 to 4 block away. I look forward to visiting again!

| Located on Baltimore's Inner Harbpr, the Harbor Court may be the best value in Baltimore when booked through Expedia. The simple brick exterior belies the old world, old Baltimore charm of the interior. Excellent friendly staff, English hunting prints that somehow seem appropriate and a delightful sunny dining room at breakfast, all offered at rates lower than the more pretentious and less authentic Marriot.
