| The hotel looks nice in the review, but be careful, this hotel is only blocks from some rough neighborhoods. Don't expect to go on any walks. Also, fitness room is a joke. I would not even consider it useable. The hotel is OK shape. It is a historic hotel that has a lot of promise, but has been neglected and much of what could be its charm is not their. It's sad to see such a promising historic hotel be run so poorly. The rooms were comfortable and quite, but again, the amenities were just out of date.

| Hotel is nice, but nothing special. It does have some old style class, but no real amenities. Rooms are large, but air conditioner was very loud; kept me awake at night. Also, could hear outside noises very easily.

| This is an older hotel in a formerly nice neighborhood, that has since fallen on some harder times. I wouldn't recommend a lot of walking around after dark, but it's not a problem for cabbing or driving around. The room was nice and large, and not just a big square like most modern hotel rooms - it had a nice hallway leading into the room. The decor was fine, if not overly fancy; the room was VERY clean and neat with a nice, big bathroom. The one MAJOR drawback to this hotel is the service from the front desk - which is spotty to say the best. I was checked in by a very nice person, however - checkout was rather unpleasant, as I was hustled out via 3 phone calls from the desk person on that day. It's not like the joint was oversold or booked up - I tried to get a late check-out, which I was denied; I was told I had to checkout by 1:00 pm. Then, I was hassled by the phone calls leading up until that time.It left a bad taste in my mouth to say the least.

| While convenient to the north Cincinnati hospital industry, this is an older facility that really needs to be renovated. The architecture is charming, but the lobby is small, the restaurants are passable and the rooms are just OK. For the business traveler, the desk set-up was awkward, and the number of outlets was minimal.

| For the price this was a good hotel. The services was excellent, but the room was quite small. It was adequate for the brief time that I stayed, but I wouldn't want to spend an extended period of time there.
