| we found the hotel not to our approval, and found some of the hotel accomendations unsafe for our children. My two year old daughter nearly fell into the pool when she went to grab the railing that leads into the pool and the railing moved. Even though she had a life vest on, she still could have been hurt. Further inspection found that all three rails for the pool where lose and unsafe. The other problem was with the A/C in our room. The unit keeped coming on every two minutes, and the only way to resolve that problem was to shut the unit down. We contacted management that evening, but could not be moved because the hotel was booked up. We did receive a one night stay free on the hotel anywhere in the country, but when we tried to use the coupon in another state a week later, we were informed that the coupon was only good in certain areas.

| I found this hotel to be very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were very helpful - they were well informed on the status of travel in the surrounding areas with all of the fires that were going on at the time of our stay. The continental breakfast was very nice - coffee wasn't so good - but all in all a nice place to stay.

| Staff was well trained, and very pleasant. Fairfield Inn Flagstaff's only down side is that access is to elevator's and many of the rooms is from the outside. Not good on a cold day.
