| I chose this hotel over the others in the area because they offered free wireless internet. It stunk... BIG time! When it finally did connect (I'm a computer pro, so it wasn't a tech problem), it wouldn't stay connected for more than one page. I would have been better off using dialup for the amount of time I sat staring at a blank page. I know this seems like a bizarre thing if you're not into it, but if you're a business person needing to cnnect, this is NOT the place for you!

| The room was fine. Bed was comfortable. Room smelled like it used to be a smoking room even though we requested non-smoking.

| The Red Lion at Kelso has been recently renovated and is the best hotel in the Kelso/Longview area. It is close to I-5 but quiet. I would recommend it.

| An older hotel but the Red Lion is well taken care of. There are some dated appointments and color schemes, but the rooms and lobby were clean and well maintained. Front desk staff present and couteous. The bar seemed dated and could use a remodel. Food was good, prices decent, service slow. Overall a comfortable place to stay with little compromise. Starbucks located nearby in the Safeway.

| This hotel is really all about location. It is located 62 miles from Mount St. Helens and just north of the Columbia River off of I5. The hotel really satisfied all of my needs with the exception of a universal weight set that was in disrepair in the work out room. Room and bathroom were clean. Bathroom was a little small. Service was good and all employees were courteous. The lounge is a sports bar that served its purpose well. Good selection of beers. If I return to the volcano or this region, I will stay at the Kelso Red Lion again. See my travel tips.

| Got in late and left early. Front desk staff was very helpful. I had mistakenly reserved the room for the following night and front staff took care of it no problems. Otherwise room was comfortable and clean.
