Located in Cavendish Square, in the east end of St. John's, this hotel is 15 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes from the Avalon and Village shopping malls, and only blocks from the historic city center and the harbor. Concierge services are available via the hotel's "Royal Service," a guest service hotline and one-stop information center. The hotel is very business-friendly: a 24-hour business center has computers, printers, fax machine, photocopier, and high-speed Internet access (surcharge). Color copying is available at the front desk (surcharge), and an audio-visual firm is on site. Wireless Internet access (surcharge) is available in the lobby and lounge. Meeting rooms—including a ballroom—can accommodate groups of 10 to 1,110 and are equipped with high-speed Internet access (surcharge). Banquet facilities and event catering are available as well. Guests wanting a workout can take advantage of the hotel's fully-equipped health club; it has exercise equipment, heated indoor pool with spa tub, two saunas, two squash courts (surcharge), and changing rooms. Also on site are a hair salon and the Rosewood Day Spa, which offers facials, body treatments, hand and foot care, massage, air-brush tanning, waxing, and cosmetics. | Great hotel! I love the rooms with the large Port hole as the window or the 7th floor view of "The Narrows". Hotel food is expensive but very good. The staff is very friendly and accomodating.
