| Our experience at the hotel was fine. They have a good continental breakfast in the a.m. However, it concerned me that inside the door to our room there was a locked safe and when you check in there is a sign that the hotel is not responsible for anything stolen out of your room unless it is locked in the safe. Although we did not have any issues, we only stayed for one night and these things sent up a flag for me.

| The most important thing I can say to any traveler considering this estableshment is take nothing for granted. The staff will happily provide you with information, but they don't give you all the information. For example they will quickly tell you there is a hourly shuttle to the DC metro, but they don't tell you you have to sign up or else a shuttle will not come. Once more if you choose to park and ride they tell you it costs 3.50, but they don't tell you you must purchase a parking card that costs $10.00 initially out of which you pay 3.50.

| 1. The listing says the hotel is "located 3 miles from most Washington DC attractions." The actual mileage (confirmed by Mapquest) is 8.78 miles from the Capitol, 8.28 miles from the White House, 7.2 miles from Union Station, 10.31 miles from the Washington Monument, 8 miles fromm the Livrary of Congress and 10.26 miles from the Lincoln Memorial. 2. They advertise a shuttle to the Cheverly Metro station, but it does not run from 12 Noon - 5 PM.

| The only problem was the directions for getting there. They were totally unhelpful to say the least. Also, it is a little farther afield from Washington than I thought it would be. The hotel room itself was fine. Clean and quiet.

| Much cheaper than staying downtown, and with the subway being easily accessible a real alternative. The ride downtown takes about 25 minutes on the subway, and the drive from the hotel to the station is about 10 minutes. They provide a free shuttle, but there is a park and ride lot as well, if you have your own car. It's $3.5/day to park there. Some of the reviews complained, but at this price I was in fact pleasantly surprised.
