Is it a new hotel? "No", but unlike many of the older hotels, this one is very well mantained. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and the extra cozy beds.

This is the most comfortable hotel we have ever stayed in (and we have stayed in many for work or vacation). The front desk staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Our room is large (can fit up to 5 people with the in-room sofabed). The mattresses are very comfortable. Nice, clean swimming pool. Large and airy lobby. It is just minutes away from all the main attractions such as Seaworld and Old Town. It is also near a huge shopping mall with good food court. We highly recommend it!

We loved the room. It featured a sliding glass door opening onto a balcony which was our favorite part. There were two queen beds as well as a sofa which folded out into a twin bed. The room was extremely neat, clean and spacious. We will be returning to this hotel for our next San Diego trip!

Good price for San Diego. On "hotel row" which is near the freeway and not very picturesque. Great for business or families who will spend a lot of time sight seeing. Awesome luxurious bedding and spacious room with balcony. Would definitely stay there again.

The Double Tree Club San Diego's centralized location provides easy access to the freeway and a short drive to most points of interest. Ample free parking but a bit cramped. Rooms are very comfortable for 2 people and can fit up to 5 people with the use of the sofa bed. Panini Grill in the lobby provides a convenient place to get a bit to eat throughout the day. Double Tree cookies are always a must.

The staff were so helpful and friendly. Our room was so immaculate, however the only fault that we could find with the hotel was the parking. Our suv would not fit in the garage and so we had to park in the employee parking. Otherwise, great location, wonderful staff and clean, clean, clean.
