| Services were that of a 5-star hotel, including the provision for morning express check-out. A representative met me at the front entrance with the taxi I had requested the night before.

| We were thrilled with this hotel. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. Rooms are a good size and nicely decorated. The views from the "tower rooms" are fantastic. There are a couple great restaurants on site (there is usually some sort of live entertainment most nights), and even the room service food is quite good. The hotel also has a complementary shuttle to/from the Larco Mar shopping center in Miraflores. If you are at all nervous about getting where you need to go upon arrival in Lima, call the hotel before you arrive and arrange to have them send a driver to pick you up from the airport. It costs about twice as much as a regular taxi, but they have someone waiting for you after you get through customs (holding a sign with your name on it), someone to help you with your bags, and a nice car to drive you to the hotel. You can even charge it to your room.

| The staff was extremely unfriendly, the cost of food and beverage in the hotel was outrageously expensive... $5 for a liter of water... Hotel restaurant food was expensive and the wait for the food was over an hour... Rooms were dirty and dingy, beds were old (mattresses were falling apart), no heat in the rooms, accommodations were very old... I would never stay there again and would not recommend it.

| The hotel did reach our expectations, workers were pleasant and tried to accomidate our need during our stay. The breakfast buffet was awesome, starting the day with such variety of food was great. However, the rooms need more updating furniture. The cleanliness needs more focus, due to the dust under the furniture was there for the 11 days of our stay. Overall, I probably would consider staying here again, I did feel safe for there is high security.

| This is the best hotel in Central Lima. The lobby is large, ornate, and clean. The breakfast buffet is spectacular and the casino is Vegas-quality. It is really the only modern, upscale hotel in Lima Central, and is within an easy walk from the historical sights.
