What to expect: This spruced-up inn offers a lot of convenience for the money—San Diego is within easy access, and LegoLand and Carlsbad beaches are close by. | Newly renovated - It seemed like a new hotel. Extremly clean. Wonderful customer service from both the front desk staff as well as the Breakfast room staff. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!

| to make a long story short dont stay here if you plan on getting any rest. First you can hear everytrhing in the other rooms next to you and also everytime someone in the room next to yours leaves and lets the door slam it rattles you room! spend a little extra.

| The service was great. Frig, Microwave in the room was nice. Continental breakfast was very good. Had all the comforts of a large hotel...except it's right next to the freeway. You could hear the cars zooming by all night. Not the hotels fault.

| This hotel was the best we stayed in for our Disney, Legoland, Baja Cruise Vacation. A hop, skip and jump from Legoland and the Flower Fields. Rooms were comfy and clean. Free wireless was also available. Beds were comfy. Coffee, Juice and Popcorn for the kids available all day. Newspapers available for FREE! Breakfast was continental, but the most nutritious we had-hard boiled eggs, waffles, many cereals, as well as the ordinary fare-bagels, toast, etc. Many restaurants up the street to the north. Pool was warm and clean. The only downside was the highway noise that we could hear, dual panes dulled the noise, but I wanted the fresh ocean air. But I would definitely encourage those going to the area to try this hotel!!

| For a quick stop-over, this place was just okay.. Too much freeway noise(we were on the third floor.) Good for a family on a tight budget. Probably won't go back.

| One confusing thing about this hotel was that there was no unloading area or covered walkway in front of the lobby. I did appreciate the elevator in our 3-story building. The freeway noise was a bit much; I wish the soundproofing around the door were as good as the soundproofing between the rooms. The breakfast was good, and the attendant made sure the tables were clean.

| Second stay at the Fairfield Inn by Marriot, Carlsbad, CA. The room was comfortable and very clean with amenities that allow flexibility with your visit. Consistant with all services listed and the front desk is friendly and available with all requests and concerns.
