| Rooms on the street are very noisy. We were moved to the back which was much better. Called to request shuttle pickup downtown (included, no extra charge) was put on the list but no one came. Called again and they said we must have been talking to a ghost, because we were not in "the book". Ice machines either not working or empty whether we went early AM or during the day. Western theme starting to look a little tired.

| Overall I would recommend this hotel. The hotel icemaker was broken and I got the impression that it had been a problem for some time and I asked the staff where I could obtain some ice. I was told to go to the restaurant or bar for ice. The lamp's switch at the work table in my room was broken and I had to "giggle" the switch to get the light to work. The maid service every day was excellent. We walked a few blocks to the Burger King for breakfast daily. The Irish Snug across the street from the hotel had excellent food and we dined there daily in the evening. The shuttle service was free and fairly convenient. I did not use the pool but one guest mentioned to me that he was dissatisfied with it. The staff was cordial. The neighborhood surrounding the hotel was okay - it was "urban" but we were never worried about our safety. Based on our internet research, the hotel was a good value - not perfect but satisfactory.

| The cost of the stay at the hotel was what attracted us to it. I think the rate is very good for the quality of the hotel. We enjoyed the western furnishings and didn't feel like we were in a bad area of town. Although we didn't use the shuttle service, I think it is a nice extra that is offered. The hotel restaurant was reasonably priced but the food was a little strange. Check in and out was easy.

| This hotel was a good bargin. Not extra nice, but room was clean. Fairly long walk to downtown through an area that does not feel real safe.

| The room was large, well maintained, and there were plenty of pillows! Our first floor room opened onto a small almost-private patio with easy access to the swimming pool and hot tub. I'd certainly recommend this hotel!

| The bed was very uncomfortable, we had a king and the mattress was only about half the thickness of a normal mattress. The upholstery on the chair in the room looked filthy, we put the bedspread over the chair as we didn't want to sit on it otherwise. The air conditioning didn't cool the room, it didn't matter what setting it was on. I wish I'd stayed in Colorado Springs for the whole trip and made the drive to Denver for the Rockies game and zoo.

| I was happy with our experience at this hotel. Most Denver downtown hotels cost a fortune. This one was at a reasonable price and was a fairly nice room. The only downside is the neighborhood. There really is nothing in walking distance besides a few fast food places. The hotel provides a shuttle service though, so that made it better.

| Room comfort and cleanliness were okay, but the dining room was filthy and the food less than okay. There were no vending machines with snacks in sight either. This made for a challenge to find places to eat nearby. The closest places were at least a 10-15 minute walk away.
