| This "hotel" was stuck in the 1970's. The smell upon entering the corridor with my bent room key was enough to make me pass out. I was there visiting a sick friend, so I did not spend a lot of time there. Just to sleep, in an uncomfortable bed, with stained sheets! UGH!!

| Great bargain for the location...close to Portland. The pool was a hit...we had it to ourselves most of the time. Not your shiny new hotel but clean and friendly.

| Hall had bad odor and moisture from jacuzi area. Hall floor was extremely noisy from warped and buckled floor due to moisture from jacuzi area. All patrons were put in same area even though hotel was almost empty. Ice machine was slow and noisy. Continental breakfast donuts were stale. Hall entry doors were hard to close. Room rate was high considering hotel condition.

| The Shilo in Hazel Dell is an older property with many of the faded colors and frayed collars that one would expect. But the biggest problem is major road construction in the area that makes getting to the hotel extremely difficult.
