| A little difficult hauling suitcases up the steep stairway. Kind of quirky getting to the upstairs rooms. Super comfy beds and linens. Nice room decor. There were some maintainance issues, some broken hardware in the room. A full standing ironing board would have been nice instead of the table-top kind. Overall, a good value in a nice setting. The pool looked really great, nice grounds and flowers.

| Everything was great! My only (minor) complaint was that the continental breakfast was pretty skimpy with only pastries and fruit.

| Loved staying here. It was in a picturesque setting and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Coffee and tea available 24/7 in lobby was a nice touch. Chef in restaurant was superb. Other restaurants within short drive. This hotel is part hotel, part motel, with the motel room that I stayed in opening to the outside. Did not like that there was no safety chain or other lock besides the usual one for your hotel key. There is another section that is indoor, opens to a hallway, and is more like a hotel. Overall great experience and I would stay here again.

| I had expected an OLD inn, and what I found was a delightful, friendly, modern motel with "old" touches. Fireplace in the lobby, all-day coffee/tea in the lobby, sign up for your choice of morning paper, spacious grounds and ample parking. A nice stay

| a lovely hotel. You need to request the hotel section NOT the motel section. The hotel section has a fire place in the lobby and is very quaint.
