What to expect: Built in 1979 in a peaceful residential neighborhood, this unpretentious Mesa resort (home of the Chicago Cubs during spring training) offers casual comfort in the shade of mature trees. Business travelers appreciate complimentary business services in the serene, Southwestern-style lobby, and vacationing families are attracted to the large swimming pool and complimentary buffet breakfast. Amenity highlights: Complimentary use of a personal computer, fax machine, and copier makes life easier for business people. A small fitness center helps guests stay in shape with cardio machines. Insider tip: Just across the street is a paved jogging track around several small neighborhood lakes, as well as an after-run Jamba Juice outlet for a fruit smoothie.
Guests of the hotel enjoy a complimentary buffet breakfast each morning. Scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries, waffles, and juices are among the choices. The Other Place of Dale Anderson - Rugged western decor with wood-beam ceiling and high-backed chairs suits the meat-filled menu, which features steaks and seafood prepared in traditional American style: prime rib of beef, skillet of whole fried chicken, and barbecued ribs. Complimentary buffet breakfast, as well as lunch and dinner, are served every day either indoors or on a large shaded patio with outdoor fireplace. | Service was excellent, the hotel staff were freindly and very helpful. The room is roomy and the hotel location is very convenient. The hotel offeres a free open buffet breakfast that was outstanding and above expectations in terms of quality, variety, service and the restaurant atmosphere. We higly reccomend this hotel.

| Great location (for highway, town and suburbs) and a good value for the room. Pool looked nice, although didn't have time to use it and next-door restaurant (free with stay) was much better than average free breakfast. Room, and dressing area were large, but shower/WC was very small. Wished my non-smoking room wasn't next door to smoking room. Good deal overall, would stay here again.

| The hotel is convienent to almost everything needed. Airport is within 10 minute drive. Close to resturants, ASU, shopping and highways. Very nice part of Mesa. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Buffet breakfast was plentiful, well prepared and a pleasant amenity. Room was clean, spacious and convienent to lobby, parking, restuarant and pool.

| We found this hotel to be wonderful !!!! We had stayed in a couple of other hotels on the way to Arizona and they were miserable !!! We were so thrilled to find the room to be so roomy and comfortable !! We were poolside and even the pool was great ! It was very large and you never felt crowded. A GREAT experience....we'll be back there next year.

| This is a good hotel, especially for the price. But it had no internet hookup in the room and the only electrical outlet was along side the bed on the opposite side of the room from the table. So I had to go to the lobby to get my emails (free wireless which was good but no outlets in the lobby either). I could only work as long as my laptop battery lasted then had to plug in the laptop and set it on the floor by the bed.

| the best priced 3 star hotel east of sky harbor airport. the breakfast is to die for and the pool and hot tub are huge. i just wished it was open longer at night. the lounge area is nice and i like that it has a dart game in it. the girls at the front counter at night are always friendly and get us checked in quickly..
