Features
What to expect: A sweeping three-story glass wall brings the outdoors into the lobby, which has marble walls, a grand piano for occasional entertainment, and plenty of comfortable seating in conversational groups. Business travelers make up the majority of the clientele and enjoy wireless high-speed Internet in the lobby area (fee). Amenity highlights: Free shuttle service is available to the airport on the hour an half hour. Express check-in/checkout, housekeeping service, and free parking are available. Insider tip: The Washington and Old Dominion Trail—a 44-mile multi-use rail-trail less than 1 mile from the hotel—offers walking, jogging, cross-country skiing, birding, and biking options. (Hotel shuttle service is available to and from the trail.) Also, Wolf Trap, Filene Center, and the Barns (17 miles from the hotel) offer performing arts and workshops for children and adults.
Olives - This restaurant off the lobby offers a large breakfast and lunch buffet service and an à la carte menu for dinner, including prime rib, salmon, trout, beef, pastas, and a grilled veggie salad. Large windows and a continuation of the slightly Mediterranean decor found in the lobby combine with an American menu. Cardinal - This clubby lounge, with pool table and TVs, offers dinner and drink specials every evening. The house draft beer, called Cardinal Ale, is produced by a local microbrewery.

| Hotel has down pillows and conforters. As I am allergic to feathers and would have liked to know this about a hotel before booking the room. In fact this recent trend towards down comforters is disturbing since this is a fairly common allergy and they could place customers health at risk. What was wrong with fiber?

| Service was ok. Room was sloppy, but otherwise great. I was expecting more... bed not pefectly made classes a bit dirty. But once I brought these concerns up to management they fixed everything and made the rest of the stay great

| This was a nice hotel.. very close to a wonderfull National Air and Space Museum. The only thing that i didnt like was at night people were very noisy.. some even talking near my room door.. and then the next day right near 8am.. someone pull a prank and pull the fire allarm.. everyone had to go out..it was a good wakeup call.. well atleast we know now that the fire system really wakes you up..

| I was amazed at the layout of the rooms. This was worth the money and the stay. I will be staying here every time I am in the Dulles area. The only downside to this hotel is how far away it is from the sites, approx 1-2 hours away, depending on traffic.

| This is a good hotel for those who would like to be close to the airport. The shuttle to the airport plys once every half hour, which does not provide ample opportunity to use public transport to go the city. Taxis do not come cheap.

| Nice enough hotel. Large rooms. Can only get their by shuttle service, which is slow and infrequent. Staff, especially shuttle drivers, seem rude or worse.

| This hotel is a strange mix of competence and incompetence. The facility itself was quite nice, but the front desk was quite surly and room service dishes were left in the hallway for seeming days. The restaurant was a little dodgy as well. Overall, recommended with reservations.
