| Upon arrival, I was informed that the elevator was out of service and was pointed toward a door that led to stairs - outside! I climbed the stairs to the third floor to find the door to go inside was locked. A hotel worker had to get a key to let me in. I got to my room and the key would not open the door. I called the front desk, and the clerk said she would be there in just a minute to help me - happened about 5 minutes later and she could not get the door open, either. She informed me that I would be moving to the second floor. Room 214 was my final destination. There recliner upholstery was so worn it was torn in several places. The clock gained over an hour in 24 hours. I killed 8 ants in the bathroom and found a dead roach in there. The sink stopper did not work by the lever, so I pushed it down by hand and pulled it out by hand discovering that it was literally caked with mildew and gook. I asked for an 8 am wakeup call - I received it at 8:14. I made an appointment with the complimentary shuttle service for around 9 am - I was in the lobby at 9:03 and the shuttle had already left. At this time, I asked for management. I was informed that the manager did not come in until around noon. I told the clerk about all of my bad experiences. The clerk called the shuttle driver and asked him to return and pick me up. As for positive remarks - HBO was entertaining. Water pressure was good. Shuttle driver was very pleasant.

| Motel staff is doing their best to make the place work. The motel needs to be completely rebuilt. Floor had a soft spot, bedding was lumpy, air conditioning was noisy and ineffective. It was clean.

| I was not at all impressed with the Days Inn Greenspoint. The entrance to the hotel was behind an abandoned pub. The hallways smelled like cigarettes despite being a non-smoking floor. The hotel lobby also smelled. The bath towels were stained and nasty.

| There is a good reason this hotel is priced lower than any other property in the area .... that's the only way they would ever get business. Not only was the hotel in terrible condition, the employees were also rude and apathetic about performing their jobs.
