| This Hotel is basic and it needs improvements in Hotel management and restoration. Initially they allocated me a room close to the elevator with such an aloud buzzing bell that I could not sleep well. Breakfast is basic, lacks diversity. Personal attention is cool and lacks hospitality compared to other cheaper Hotels from Santiago. Rooms are clean, but the Hotel requires urgently furniture and rugs investments at room level. Beware of taxi drivers around the Hotel that will cheat you on your money change. The hotel is 15 minutes from the Metro Subway system and you need a taxi. Enough for one night business stay, but if you come with your wife or extended periods choose another hotel for the same price.

| The Director Hotel is a very good option in Santiago. Service is friendly, rooms are spacious and clean, restaurant is good, breakfast just OK. Vitacura is a nice, residential neighborhood, very safe to walk around, close to the main shopping malls and good restaurants within walking distance. Only negative points were its distance from subway and the city's mains attractions.
