Excellent value pick. Highlight is how it is a 5 minute walk to the village and how the staff works hard.

The hotel is a little older, but they have kept it neat and clean. You have to walk to get to the village, but it's worth it. We had a two bedroom suite. It was perfect for our family. Clean property, comfortable, courteous staff. We would go back again.

Only complaint I had about this hotel was that there was no A/C and the windows/sliding door did not have screens on them. It was quite hot the nights I stayed there.

Tantalus was a very good value, with a really convenient van service for skiers. The furnishings are dated.

The Tantalus is relatively close to the village so there's not a problem as far as location. However the rooms are not as nice as others. The fridge is from early 80s, as well as the other appliances. The amount of room was great for the price and it is one of the least expensive in whistler village. If you don't mind staying in the 80s, this may be a good choice. If you're a college student with 6 other buddies, this is a good way to save money.

Old, outdated, uncomfortable. I felt like I was back in the 70s. One TV, small bathrooms. There are better places at Whistler.
