| There are several buildings making up this hotel with vried standards of accommodation and prices. However, my room in building 2 was large and comfortable although, in my opinion, expensive. But perhaps that's because Anchorage is an expensive town. I loved the fact that I could open the window in my room and let in fresh air. This made it a little noisy as there is a lake at the back of the hotel that serves as a huge sea plane base. The planes didn't fly at night but it might be a problem in the middle of summer. The restaurant was basic but the service and atmosphere was very friendly. I ate there both nights and each time I ended up chatting with other guests. As I was on vacation, on reflection, I would have been better saying in a downtown hotel. But for a friendly, genuine hotel that's convenient to the airport, this is an attractive option.

| This is an OK hotel that has a great location near the airport. If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel without all the extras, this is a nice place to stay. If you are looking for lots of amenities and a fancier atmosphere, then you should look elsewhere.

| The hotel has two sections. New one is across the street and had wished I'd stayed there but if your not fussy then the old one isn't bad in a pinch.

| Our room was clean and quite spacious. The room staff was very friendly as well as helpful. We really appreciated the cafe connected with the hotel, room service and fair pricing on the menu. We were in Anchorage for medical reasons and the hotel was available to the airport and to all the medical facilities we needed. We were in buliding 3, the room numbering was a bit confusing but easily explained by the desk staff.
